We work with women in socially and economically vulnerable situations, promoting entrepreneurship and personal, emotional, and spiritual development. We support them in generating supplemental income for their households through their own businesses.

The beneficiary women will be trained in topics related to the project: organization, leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, Christian spirituality, emotional care, violence prevention, entrepreneurship, among others.

The project also helps women and their families produce food based on a food security approach and organic agroecology principles. Consequently, the production of smaller species such as free-range chickens (criollas) for meat and egg production is promoted. This is done by promoting solidarity actions of exchange and mutual aid among women. We expand on this topic in the Food Security section.

One of the cross-cutting themes of AME is emotional and spiritual support, so that participants are strengthened in their inner selves.
