Reynaldo, 30-year-old man, neighbor of Matina, married. He has a 3-year-old girl and watches over his wife’s 3 children.
He worked at the banana plantations but two years ago he had a traffic accident. He was on his motorcycle and a car ran over him, consequently, he had to go through intensive care and surgeries. A few days later his leg became infected, and they cut off a piece of his leg, leaving only the knee. He tried to work but can’t because his stump swells. With such little money as his disability pension provides him, he makes a living out of it for himself and his family.
When he received his wheelchair, he was astonished. He said that by knowing he was now able to move from one place to another, he was going to come up with a way to find a new job.
